Fender Musical Instruments Annual Report

The FMIC annual report was designed to celebrate the company’s 60th anniversary that year and extend the visual marketing developed for that campaign to shareholders.

I was responsible for developing the visual style used in the annual report–and while it is most certainly a Fender product, it also had to respect the company’s other musical instrument brand holdings as well.

The concept of a timeline was arrived at to best display Fender’s past, present and future, at a time when the company was growing and changing rapidly. It not only paid homage to the past but also spoke to the company’s rich historical culture and its mission to carry that history forward to a new generation.
